There is a time for you . . .keep your faith

There was a time when the world was enormous: spanning the vast, almost infinite boundaries of your neighborhood. The place where you grew up, where you didn’t think twice about playing on someone else’s lawn. The street was your territory that occasionally got invaded by a passing car. It was where you didn’t get called home until after it was dark. And all the people, and all the houses that surrounded you were as familiar as the things in your own room

Then life happened
We grew up
Got smart
Grew our hair
Moved away
Got poorer
The sandbox. . .like the park . .further the swings . .
Well we just stopped being grateful for them
Called it growing up

Forget Jesus  . .
Became busy . Unhappy
Forgot the friendship meaning
Got fatter
More intelligent
Moved even further away
Got sad
Lost our faith

Doesn't have to be that way
Keep the faith
Grow develop smile build sandcastles
Swim
Dance
but above all be you keep your faith

MAYBE WE WON`T MEET AGAIN

. . . she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven, with a picture of the ocean and the beach
The simple words he wrote her
Said he loved her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near,Wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, "
I miss you so, wish you were here"
