`All Saints day` . . .
struggle to see why many celebrate Halloween in the UK while also being so anti American . .either you do not like the culture or as it appears you choose to import some rubbish part of it . .l find it so difficult to understand . .
Would have been funny if 500 years ago Luther was to frightened to go out . .
Been little emergence into the protestant church at that
period...mind you we should be concerned about what is emerging this day and at this moment

postcard from Heaven
Carried in sunshine as the nights become so cold.
Our Mum world is now peaceful but this one,
well it is full of fears.
I am sure God is making sure `an angel walks alongside her` as
she settles in.
The front of the post card just said Heaven, with a picture
of a sandy beach with endless coral blue sea.
On the back was a message
“Wish you were here,
Its paradise, the illness all gone
Justice reigns.
Peace flows like a river…oh there some friends you
know..they all told me to say hello for them…if my hands could hold you close l
surely would..take care of each other..got to go”

Meanwhile my home town football club is creating off the field issues.
Fans protested well with Tennis balls and marches.
Mind you we should see protest against ESA and cuts that hurt people.
The supporters knew they would get maximum exposure because the match was on the television and that’s why those who threw the balls on the pitch chose this game to do so.
It brought national exposure to their issues against the owners and that’s the point of the protest, to show the issues the fans have on the biggest platform they could get.
However much l accept it is only football the empty seats evident at other matches suggest that many are without the pocket money need to pay soccer prices
The fact they did it, the pitch was quickly cleared and then everyone got back on with the game was great. It didn’t bubble over into anything else. The point was made, the exposure to a national audience was gained and then everyone got back on with the football.

fixing me fixing you
Like our broken society why can`t we fix this.
As yet another person who has `fits` several times a day fails their ESA test.
The ESA test is very limited it really ask you to walk around 35 yards ,sit comfortably for 20 minutes and be able to move a empty box around a table
YES its that basic ,but its discriminatory.
l was born and have lived in a montroy poor situation, l was born the eldest of 9 living mostly on a council estate in Hull .A city that is one letter from Hell.
This worried and concerned me very much as in my most formative years, it embarrassed myself.
It took time and growth as l developed it became unimportant
Society became more broken and the causes did not get fixed.
l suppose Kevin got fixed, found faith, something important and valuable, this lessened my apparent shame about own background,But thanks to my parents and especially Mum, we did not feel impoverished and l realised because of family, Church and the places attended my background was unimportant.
hope you can fix you....hope family,faith and fellowship with others shape that fixing.

| are you ready in my latest reinventing myself l made chutney yes it started with a old miners recipe then it got ``kevwallerished``cider replaced vinegar malt beer was added,loads of onions, and ton of green tomatoes,too many raisins odd chillie,few garlic cloves,ginger paste awful lot of patience let see what next few months brings..then on a cold winters nite add to the cold cut meat and pork pie mmmmm |

total loving this season `Autumn watch` on the TV
it has become a firm favourite in our home

THE POVERTY MANY CARRY
They exist because greed allows
They exist because our society is unfair
They exist where ever poor and the vulnerable can be exploited
They exist because our society is broken
Changes happen to our benefit system and have been taking place since l became a youth and community worker...right back to my first post as paid professional in 1984 . .the poor have been with us before that..yet we have made it worse
I hold in my files all the green papers and the information going back to that period identifying how much worse it was becoming
we have dome nothing
the gap gets bigger
it gets wider
to cross this gap is not possible
Born into poverty..live in poverty...buried in debt..Society 2017
