Ending year looking week back

Well looking back as 2014 closes and a new year journey begins.
Don't do parties and got few plans to escape the cold in 2015,
So gonna swim and be healthier.
Not be a typical Christmas, been bit fed up
that not like myself also been struggle to beat the cold very chilly here that affects health. ...moods..happenings..social life!
Got few things to do as January progresses
But looking forward to going on a sojourner
Away food, fellowship, fun, fitness, awaits me.

The grooming going on in most towns and city's is getting attention.
But no real action!
Hey cut youth work posts that help the vulnerable young people and children.
The Church needs to find a response to this situation.
We need to pray for guidance and be brave addressing the issues facing our youth in the nation.

Still into my hill street . . . . . .

Still love watching old TV prigs before the wire and NYPD blue there was the essential 'hill street blues'
Plus that old advice more relevant today then 30  years ago hey let's be careful out there
So please also keep the faith
Eat chocolate
Visit Malta
Love
Kiss often
Seek Jesus follow him
Dress like Becker. . . .well you have to watch the TV prog to understand that one

The death subject

So death is a subject l thought about
Being this ill would be foolish not to ponder
The most important question is (for myself) wil l see her again?
But also what legacy have l left
Did l shine my light enough
Have others life's been improved by meeting me
Did others know why my focus was the way it processed?
Why was l not kissed more
This is not emotional meld honey, nor it on my heart
Did l make peace, who do l need forgiveness from.
What will happen to my family friends and loved ones
Did l build enough sand castles.?

Tried to walk and reflect often making a talk with Jesus daily priority
Regrets perhaps not but still got questions
Was God silent about some stuff
Why did we not meet again,l always thought we would
There been fire there also been rain...but...

Oldies but goodies

“The eight who played from the Championship. From (Liam) Rosenior, to Alex (Bruce), to (Stephen) Quinn, to (Sone) Aluko. To a man they were absolutely terrific.

“We’ve needed to be. We came here with six of our big players missing and to come and win was terrific, especially in the manner in which we did. I can’t remember my goalkeeper making a save.”

We most defiantly needed to win and again l say we still need to win
Why do HCFC supporters settle for second best
Oh we so grateful to a least be in the premier league NO we deserve to be mid table for a great city
Huge praise for the oldies and deserved praise
The drake and emotions that go with a team victory
Felt good on the radio
Felt good watching on MOTD
Felt good reading in the papers
Well done Hull lifted the gloom
Oldies even life in this oldie

Like a giant Hull City defence wall

Well it appears some have a little problem
If the Muslim community
Those lovely Middle East Arabs keep threatening to bomb a nation and take it off the face of the earth
They wil respond with defences that are difficult and problematic
It uncomfortable to place this and it appears threatening to hold this view but the solution is as much in the hands of Arabs as the nation ISRAEL
Also not good to pretend this was ahistorical argument the argument got very awful on both sides in recent years
Watch the film Munich that a real roller coaster of emotions drama and views
But at this time of year all we are really saying
"is give peace a chance"

Back to life pause button removed

Oddly been lathergic health ways, rested then rested again
Bit chilly the world appears to be on pause
Blessed by Matthews whose enjoyed Christmas with his family
Lots fun then had quiet period
Chilling
Watched double inspector monteballaano can't figure out his relationship with His woman
That puzzles me
Anyway back to life and reality
Theology to write up about next few days then planning after delivery to scoot off

Do not perform the Christmas rush

I hear you calling me home . . . I m coming home....

Bit disappointed last food shop perhaps for the year, people going silly
Milk ,stuffing, bacon, then reflecting and really old film too watch
Wondering why gone crazy food, odd stuff people buy
Plus Christmas it one day.
Seen more arguments in shops recent then l ever remember.
Perhaps more aware,
The good news is "it does not have to be like this, simple read the bible, read the world around you, reflect."
Do not perform like others want you to,enjoy the process as you journey towards. The end of this yeR 2014
God bless
I am going to be off here for a while ,listening walking sharing, life

Live like you are dying

Not so long ago a tired man sat down
Reflected
Pondered anew
Thought about stuff
Red the world around him
Then was ordered and without thinking of self went over .......
To be slaughtered
So we might be free. . . .
Freckin ejeet
Yes he just did as he was ordered by those in authority
An authority that still rules and still pushes people over into the depths
Less thinking of self could save your life
Did not create community nor did that war bring world peace

4000 abused
1 million children in poverty this Christmas
Many missing from the counted figures
Underemployment
Low pay impoverished blighted communities

Worth fighting for . . . Maybe not

Dec 20, 2014

Is it. Nearly Christmas

So many forgotten at Christmas
Unemployed
Low paid
Disabled
Sick
I'll
Not really a good time is it if we are honest
Well that's my Scrooge view
Even TV listings are a rerun
Plus not biblical to celebrate like this
Bah humbug

Today's slight heart issue

Today heart issue slow tired wee bit pain
Rested well back to bed
Challenging but up out now
Most days fine had one month no issues
Bit chesty tired today
Cannot stress self to much
Take it easy reflect,,,ponder,,,small healthy walks ...cups of tea ..reading by the fire
Listening to music

The forgotten

More than 50,000 people aged 16 to 18 not in education or work have “gone missing” from official statistics and are receiving no support, according to research published today.

It warned that the problem of Neets - young people not in education, employment or training - is much bigger than local authorities realises because tens of thousands of them have “disappeared off the radar”.
Ignored
Forgotten
Treated awful
Voiceless
Hurt
Broken
Turning to crime
Apathetic
Powerless

Not voters
Rural
Urban
City dwellers
Rough sleepers
Abused
4000
Poor
In poverty
16-18 years old
Too dam young to be treated like that

Loved by God

Still forgotten by the Church

I hurt l bleed my heart broken by those who treat our young like this!

Seas and oceans deep.

Watched a fishing trawler cut through the seas making for safety of the harbour.
Grateful for where l am in life safe warm well fed.....healthy.....got friends. Life.
My uncle died at sea. Uncle Barry was young washed over board like many from Hull.
In those days ..suppose it always been rough trade being a fisherman.

The sky form these blankets of couler as we approach winter sosliste.
The cold remains. This has become normal now wrapped up against the wind, cold, along with the wet.
Fortunate to be enjoying life, despite the challenges it raised. Nearly  another year over.
Soon will head to family in Hull, catch up shoot the breeze.
The settle down for a quiet peaceful Christmas.
Try to encourage others with my motto, don't be be silly and spend sensible.  Quiet period as many activities, shops ,agencies close early now that Yuletide is here.
Peace is that too much to hope for, NO. Shalom and Agape to all.

where l can be myself
not worry about upsetting
religious bioguts"

Dec 17, 2014

No place for terror

Simple request to live in a world free of Islamist terror
Some MF religion oppressive
Cruel
Harsh
Awful
No place in modern society

Massively impressed with NSW response to terror that plagued them this week

Worried tigers fan

I am worried about my team Hull city as we slump to second place at the bottom of the premier league To put things into a bit of context, City have faced far more of the top-half teams than those who are around them in the table so far this season. But that's why these next few games are so important for Steve Bruce and his side.

However I am a man with passion, like Stevie B but got to improve immediately
We are in a real dangerous position like life when you feel down you often are, then you find it difficult to get out of a mire
But it has to be done soonish rather then leaving it for a while
This is good time for action on the football pitch......now

So this is Christmas........

We all seam to need some peace
A lady said by txt today
"I want to live in a world ,where not in fear from those ,who do not like what l believe ".
How true how very true
A world free from terror
Poverty
Bullies
Thieves
Hijackers
A world where you can go for a Lints chocolate bar .....without fear
Where if you do not worship like me
If you are different to myself
If you dress unlike me....
If you do not eat the same food as my family.......
We love you for your differances
We debate around the kitchen table with each other...
We walk together
We build sand castles and not weapons
That's the world l want to live in .....a world full of Peace

Thinking about Prodigals ....Walking reflecting.....

it is at this point that God begins to bring them to their senses … as they find themselves in need, this is a hard learned lesson, if as parents you come to their financial rescue, all you are really doing is empowering them to repeat their mistakes until they once more arrive at need again … this can be an endless loop where as parents you are constantly preventing God from completing His work …

Saturday in cold December up north

Saturday in the northern cold cold denes and it time to listen to vinyl and podcasts while staying warm simple day ....got some theology to write up on so struggle while l walk and pray although the cold impacting myself a lot this currant period of chilly weather...but thank God ..l have had no hospital, doctor or nurse visits for one month on wednesday..thats a bit wow for myself although had longer periods ..having been unwell late november it good not to be stressed at present with heart and health conditions.                    Further got to correct a community idea someone developing so little evidence of consultation and dialogue with their user group ..sometimes you have to ask simple questions like "who says this is needed"? plus ..."where your evidence this is worth investing resources and effort into?"

Inspector Monteballano Saturdasy on BBC 3
my idea of a bit of paradise warm Scillian climate
drama and adventure
pure escape for myself as l wrapp up against the cold

Why light not shining

When the world is as far gone as this
We got to ask ourselves
Why is our light Not  shining?

City v Chelsea got to go all out

So it's the clash we not expected to win
The clash of the big time Charley's
Clash north v south
Little team in the big city
One pundits say Hull can not win
Form books suggest we cannot win
What better time for Hull City Tigers to step up to the plate
Altogether now
"cum on you ell"

"We've got to become kingdom people in the real sense of the word"

"We've got to become kingdom people in the real sense of the word"

It seems the birth of Jesus is not the only element of the nativity scene causing confusion.
A quarter (25 per cent) now believe the shepherds found Jesus using Google Maps and 15 per cent claim the Three Kings gave Jesus a wand, tiara and wings as gifts to celebrate his birth.
Among those who don't believe Jesus is a Chelsea striker, some believe he is an astronaut and others an X Factor contestant.

we got to ask ourselves why the light isn`t shining...when we are called to be the light of the world...

Name in a jar

this was a lady who freed many Jewish children during the second wild war in Poland keeping the names of all those smuggled out in a buried jar in her back garden
this story inspires myself .

Irena's Parents

Irena's ParentsIrena’s father was a doctor. Her father died in the typhus epidemic of 1917 when he contracted the disease while caring for poor Jewish people in Otwock. Browse our photo gallery for a photo and information on Irena’s mother and father.

Irena Sendlerowa was a Polish woman who, along with her underground network, rescued 2,500 Jewish children in Poland during World War II. Many of this number were already outside of the Ghetto and in hiding.

Thanks to my little sister Claire for telling me about this courageous woman
It's a story to warm one up of this awfully cold chilly windy day
Inspiring very WOW

Kingdom people in the real sense of the word

"We've got to become kingdom people in the real sense of the word"
We must go for it in a way the world has not seen in my lifetime
The world is a really gone place
Not safe in my locality killings everyday think not true
Just simply press the red button on TV and check stories
Poverty everywhere many people hungry
Abuse of children
Internet opens door to sick images of terror and abuse
Old people die alone cold and without many basics
Mental health is growing concern to health practioneers
Young appear to be without hope
"We've got to become kingdom people in the real sense of the word"
Got to go for it like the 1st century Christians
They turned the world upside down
We got to be able to stand in the gap

Lyrics psalms and `Kev`s` poem, mixed up.

It's breaking my heart every time we're apart,
I just can't get you out of my mind,
don't know much for a fact, all I do know is
I just can't get you out of my mind
Like me and forever angel
It's a love that cannot die
But to make me really happy
Got to see your smile
I know this time of year you often like to comment
But like burton and Taylor this love has got to last
So soon the heart is failing
So time to make that call
I still just can't get you outa my mind
So `podcast` and `itunes` came along
But vinyl and CD still play that favorite song
Larry sings about heaven
Plus Jessie lost on a caravan park
That tunes in my head on a Sandy beach
You are on my mind
Another day begins one thing remains the same
I still can't get you outa my mind

Lydia and the inspector

What the issue with inspector Montebellono and Lydia
Transfixed with beauty of Scilly and the great drama of this programme
Catch BBC 3 Saturdays at present
Luv it loads
Bit of ADH perhaps

Future not bright, in fact plum mouthed suckered.

Just been to church at St. Mary's, where student from Diocese mission coorts
Well what `accents`, plum mouthed, bearded , crew topped jumpers
Building cold, but hey expected that!
Lack of abilities in front of congregation, unbelievable.
Stammering words, lack of communication or abilities to hold together a theme. All linear ,read too, spoken too, shared own reading. Spoke. They could speak.
Aged congregation in warm coats 29 in total half from years present mission team.
l felt like a sucker ...who uses these word, these methods, this dry approach.
Unsound lacking process, lacking direction ,inspiration and outdated.
Guess what uncomfortable throughout the ordeal. Church become an ordeal.
Someone told me these bearded wonders and plum mouthed accents are youth having their fling. There is No future here.
A church Dying . . .?  it would be best to put the sad old animal outa its misery quickly.

WelldoneNewcastle
Now it's upto Hull city
Saturday a footie radio day
Love the radio
Playing Wii everyday
Cold walks
Cuppa in a cafe
Alone this weekend but need to rest
Feeling fit
Coping well
Love to all who pass this way

a differant time and l was younger

So winter has arrived, It feels chilly even with heating on,suppose that the life we have in this locality. Cold Bleak, good food, hot drinks, get me thru this first period of winter coldness.l am thinking that need downsize but what headache.what do you get rid off?relationship will be detached!New ones have been forged, moved around a lot in my life. This is the most time in one area around 8 years total

Many new realtionship been developed, older ones strengthened with the poverty many face.
Lets give thanks to the currant goverment, and more then a nod to Blairite Socilaists. who never did anything for those close to the edge
l never expected it to get worse in the period we are in now
reflect back to the 80`s,life was tough and l was younger.
Perhaps that big factor.
l was younger
Life is so differant but try(with Gods blessings) to help others even when if costs

Heartfelt plea

Loving listening to new tunes on iTunes
Plus loads of nostalgia with rewind podcast
Loving it
around this time of the year anonymous connects
But the sad thing is She does not fone anymore with limited time left for me
I make heartfelt plea love to hear you

Really hope people step back from the mad rush surrounding Christmas
People become ignorant of those alone and without this season
Look hard and find some way to connect help those alone at Christmas
Wish people would not go so crazy it a few days break shopping like the world may end
So much waste
Behind the faces scowls anger frustration lie life's broken
Real person remains hidden
Christmas this season enables falseness to be demonstrated
In my humble view
OK perhaps not so humble
But it be honest view

Cold up north soonish

Several centimetres of snow could fall in parts of East Yorkshire on Sunday

The snow is likely to be limited to higher ground in the Wolds and the northern part of the county.

Saturday will be bright, but Hull and the East Riding can expect freezing temperatures at times.

Most of the snow will be further north. If there is any, it will be quite light.

Freckin freezing so l am expecting snow
Went to see about some tickets for local low league match today on TV tonite
Hartlepool v Blythe yes not top footie is it
But they Wanted £20  for cheapest stand despite going to be empty and l can wTch at home for free
austerity not hit football or it's agents yet

Mind you l have tablets and fall asleep no big deal
Stay warm
Stay focused
Stay in touch
Keep the faith

Dec 4, 2014

did you go missing from our life?

I thought I caught a glimpse of you
I thought I saw your face
as the Sunday morning due
melted every trace

Did you walk the earth in vain
conquering the dead
or did life make you forget
the crown upon your head

Is it true what they say
Are you coming back someday
Is it true what they
About you

If it's true will you be
A guiding light to me
and the few that still believe

you went missing from our life
you're nowhere to be seen
not in heaven not on earth
but somewhere in a dream

Tell me how you see the world
Watching from afar
Is this all that we can be
Is this who we are

Is it true what they say
Are you coming back someday
Is it true what they
About you

If its true will you be
A guiding light to me
and the few that still believe

If its true will you be
A guiding light to me
and the few that still believe
For few that still believe

Update on personal

Spent yesterday in a seaside town they had forgot to close down.
Walked around thinking "come Armageddon come",but do it quickly.
Freezing this day 0-7,reluctantly stayed in but bit worn out.
Took son Matthew back. Hull via scarboro. last four days been active so got to chill, conserve weak heart.
My heart is failing so rest, few times week. Do not stay up past 8 at present.
Also sleeping lot longer maybe the illnesses, or me being lazy.
Let you judge!
Wonder where or if will work again.
Then it also about the money
Not health.
The news of poverty and sickness along with premature deaths locally.
Deeply saddens myself!

Dec 1, 2014

Storms....huge weather variates at present

Huge winds brought chills waves and stormy conditions Despite this turmoil Got dressed, got out  Excitement conversation's  Pictures and...

MAYBE WE WON`T MEET AGAIN

. . . she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven, with a picture of the ocean and the beach
The simple words he wrote her
Said he loved her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near,Wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, "
I miss you so, wish you were here"
