Speaking at his FA Cup Final media briefing on Tuesday, Bruce said: “Thankfully everybody came through the Everton game okay.


“We’ve got everybody available who we think should be available. The only real doubt we’ve got at the moment is James Chester who is doing his utmost to be fit. He was back on the training ground on Tuesday doing some sort of work, but not with the main group.


“Matty Fryatt didn’t train on Tuesday after picking up a knock on Monday, but we don’t expect that to be anything worrying, we just aired with caution. He’ll be fine.


“The three that returned at the weekend came through without any problems.


“The hardest job I’ve got now is picking the eleven for such a big game and I have to weigh it all up in my own mind. We’ve got Paul McShane who has been out for 16 or 17 weeks, Allan McGregor for six or seven, Aluko who has been on and off.


“We have to make sure that everybody is right, both in terms of frame of mind and physically.


“The weather’s warming up and everybody is going to have to be 100 per cent fit.”
