emotional literacy in a ghastly mining community

living here is hard
they talk tough
hate those who chose to work
cannot forgive/forget
celebrated the death of a former PM
hatred is seen as positive
if it towards another who you do not agree with
suspious of outsiders

The christian community is the same
they do not reflect that differance
nor the important rule of practising forgiveness

some chose to strike
others chose not too
however lack of forgiveness, bitterness, promoting the past.
Dislike of outsiders
Always voting labour
Not questioning
marlboro man l am a rock type of old fashioned sillyness
`pissing your wages away`
domestice violence
All characteristics of emotional literacy that is so evident in this community people seam unprepared to move on from the attitude of the mining community. One officer in the mines told me `thay wasted money on booze and beat up their women` traits still see in evidence 2014.. The children and youths l have worked with are the best hope for the future, they do not want those characteristices. Some promote the good old days and still pay union dues to `Rat king` called Scargill...(real story their about money and current payments)..."You glorify the past when the futures dead ahead"...The Church and Christian witness have not challanged this wrong of displaying these characteristics..but the Church are dieing with old buildings, poor witness, plus poor attendance, plus alegiance further support of freemasonary

MAYBE WE WON`T MEET AGAIN

. . . she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven, with a picture of the ocean and the beach
The simple words he wrote her
Said he loved her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near,Wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, "
I miss you so, wish you were here"
