listening to music

Listening to Bob Seeger with my son Matthew has we drove from York to the north
He informing me about the singers’ song words and the struggles the writer is facing
We then talk about life and perhaps our own struggles
The power of music
As martyr Joseph said at GB13
`Don’t just add to the noise`.

l stand

Sometimes you get news ,it, at one time in your life would blindside you.
But life gets tougher and l have to just say `bring it on`.
Health is not good
l function at 83 -95 % what l once was
Tough
its cold
money too tight to mention
family not where l want them to be
my commitment to the faith has cost
tough
l am me
here and now
it where l stand
in the presence of the Lord

Others today l will meet, also find this day tough.
Tomorrow will shine differently,
l can recall my own past and take some comfort,
also the road ahead is not as long as the road on the journey already past.

yes again life is? read all about it

some one recently said....." when I started sleeping rough. I was now properly homeless. Like many people living on the streets today I felt all alone. I no longer saw myself as a member of society, it was like I had become de-humanised, I had no care for the world around me and I had lost the ability to love myself. I lived hour to hour, drink to drink. The one thing I did care about was the thing which was killing me and that was the drink".

I WALK NOT WORK WALK WITH PEOPLE LIKE THIS EVERY DAY ALMOST OF MY LIFE

LIFE IS TUFF
often others are experiancing things we do not know about

still l hope

l hope you find it
what you`re looking for

we are all searching
sometimes l look back and wonder what was l trying so hard to be
just to be
l know even if you love with all your being
it not enough
but sometimes you waste time thinking you are not good enough
l have to be happy with this fact
my love
my best
my efforts
where all l could muster to achieve the task
even though l failed

l hope you find it
what you`re looking for

OOPS ME COMMITTING HERESY

Legends about Luther: Nailing the 95 Theses

October 31, 1517: Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg with hammer strokes which echoed throughout all of Europe. This act has been portrayed numerous times thoughout the centuries, and until the 21st century it was accepted as fact. It has become a symbol of the Reformation as nothing else has.

It was like a slap in the face when the catholic Luther researcher, Erwin Iserloh, asserted in 1961 that the nailing of the theses to the door of the Castle Church belonged to the realm of legends.
The facts are convincing, the first written account of the event comes from Philipp Melanchthon who could not have been an eye-witness to the event since he was not called to Wittenberg University as a professor until 1518.
Also, this account appeared for the first time after Luther's death and he never commented on 'nailing anything up' in 1517.

Announcements of upcoming disputes were supposedly regularly hung on the door of the Castle Church. But, openly hanging the theses without waiting for a reaction from the Bishops could have been seen as a clear provocation of his superiors. Luther would not have done that because he only wanted to clear up some misunderstandings.

It is also worth noting, that there was no open discussion of the theses in Wittenberg and that no original printing of the theses could be found.

One thing is sure: Luther wrote a letter to his superiors on October 31, 1517 in which he denounced the sale of indulgence and asked for repayment and removal of the misunderstandings. With the letter he included 95 theses which were to be the basis for a discussion on the topic.

Today, the majority of Luther researchers see it as fact, that Luther did not nail his theses to the door of the Castle Church on that day. But the picture of Luther nailing the theses to the door of the church is still today the most common in regards to Luther, the reformati

Everyone recovers at slightly different speeds. As a rule of thumb, you should be able to sit in a chair after one day, walk after three days and walk upstairs after five or six days.

Your stay in hospital will usually be around seven days. It may be longer if the doctors wish to monitor your condition more closely.

Normally, you'd expect to make a full recovery within 12 weeks. However, if you experience complications during or after the surgery, your recovery time is likely to be longer.

Someone from the cardiac rehabilitation team or physiotherapy department will discuss your rehabilitation with you before you go home. They will be able to advise you on the best ways to get back to full health.

Kevin is still on the road to recovery
l did not make a full recovery and am due back for more assessment very soon
But l am better then l was
As it got worse towards the time for the operation
This is life
Your health, your choices

how would l know if you were?

You Could Be Happy"

You could be happy and I won't know
But you weren't happy the day I watched you go

And all the things that I wished I had not said
Are played in loops 'till it's madness in my head

Is it too late to remind you how we were
But not our last days of silence, screaming, blur

Most of what I remember makes me sure
I should have stopped you from walking out the door

You could be happy, I hope you are
You made me happier than I'd been by far

Somehow everything I own smells of you
And for the tiniest moment it's all not true

Do the things that you always wanted to
Without me there to hold you back, don't think, just do

More than anything I want to see you, girl
Take a glorious bite out of the whole world

life local to me

there is l am lead to believe a light that never goes out may it always shine for you
as me and Matthew walked and talked last week end we came upon this site...a dead fox, alone, cold ,in the wild

Tensions between local people and Roma migrants could escalate into rioting unless action is taken to improve integration, David Blunkett has warned.
The former home secretary fears a repeat of race riots that hit northern cities in 2001.
His concerns centre on the Page Hall area of Sheffield, where Roma migrants from Slovakia have set up home.
But he also accused the government of "burying their head in the sand" over the scale of Roma settlement in the UK.
In an interview with BBC Radio Sheffield, he said the Roma community had to make more of an effort to fit in with British culture.
"We have got to change the behaviour and the culture of the incoming community, the Roma community, because there's going to be an explosion otherwise. We all know that."

well not so sure two points here have we gone too far in welcoming others

DREAMING

War, poverty, unemployment, hopelessness, hatred and fear, young Palestinian children face obstacles that are incredible, powerful and influence their worldview also shape their future. One Fadi says
"I can't live without hope and dreaming, but sometimes our life here make us so depressed".

There was me worrying about the laptop not powering up.
Plus the weather being chilly and cold
Along what do l cook for everyone this evening
Further will the roads be safe? ? ? ?

So they killed her

I hope you find it
what your looking for,
but l hope you heard the words l tried to say.

How cruel humanity is Sophie died because others do not like those who are different.
No other reason
So they killed her.
Left her dying in a street in, 'Bacup Lancashire' England.
Left her dying
then laughed all the way home
left her dying.
Because she was different,
her difference made them feel?
What ...ashamed..can l ask what did it make them feel . . less manily, insecure!
Kicked her to death
well you want to know why? Sophie, she was different.
That all it takes these days, for another group to end the life of one other person.
As the young man said in the youth club recently.
l don`t like those people
l hate them.
That's all it takes!
Different . . hair... music...values..food ...clothes.

bit orangie embarressed

So the Tigers welcome the Black Cats this weekend, and what’s the chance some fur will fly? It’s a crucial game for both sides. Hull City must look to end a run of three defeats in league and cup and on paper, should be more than a match for struggling Sunderland, who will be desperate to prove last week's win over Newcastle really did herald a new dawn .Come on you HulL. COME ON MY HOME TOWN TEAM HULL.
one of my daily fixes which l am, embarressed about is watching the real housewifes of Orange county
l love the drama people interacting
arguments
restoration of relationships
what do we learn
discover about being human
its got something of life
along with the phoney people
people who claim to be following Jesus but see no wrong in such extranagant expensive self centred life styles
in some ways it all that is wrong with America
but also all that wrong with humainty.

Storms....huge weather variates at present

Huge winds brought chills waves and stormy conditions Despite this turmoil Got dressed, got out  Excitement conversation's  Pictures and...

MAYBE WE WON`T MEET AGAIN

. . . she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven, with a picture of the ocean and the beach
The simple words he wrote her
Said he loved her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near,Wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, "
I miss you so, wish you were here"
