where heaven is!

Santa Venera this is on Malta where l find heaven in the place and the people!

akwadott
Located midway between the old capital Mdina and the new capital Valletta, the town of Santa Venera grew in importance as a staging post en route.
its Artihture and wonderous buildings along with odd little cafe make this another beautiful resting chatting place.
Santa Venera's position meant the locality was always the focus of transport and communication projects serving the two cities. TRavel along route on a local bus stopping in either Valatta or Wignacourt marvel at what First was the Wignacourt acqueduct, completed in 1615, and built to solve the problems of Valletta's drinking water supply. The flat lands of Santa Venera posed a problem to the acqueduct builders who devised a system of arches to increase the gradient. You can still see large parts of the acqueduct here. The second project was the railway. Of course the railway never truly arrived,(KEVIN WALLERS VIEW), Track-laying started in the late 19th century for a service that was to last only until the 1930s. Today, Santa Venera is an urban area comprising residential and industrial estates.

Through out the islands of Malta and gozo you can find these tranquil havens of rest and beauty. My idea of Heaven, long time l have been absent.

Prayers and tears

One time we met to pray, talk, Chat but to pray.
Reading the papers of all the news
The room fell silent as the story was read
A girl `Sophie`
venue Bacup west Yorkshire,
had been beaten and Died.
The young girl reading the story followed
the events in other newspaper reports.
Everyone present was moved.
l never have forgotten that sharing experience
the feeling`s
Shock.
Emptiness at Sophie's Mums loss
Tears. . yes ours. Also silent reflection in each heart
as we mourned, sure it was nothing like Sophie family and friends

We searched and followed up,
looking at others dress culture and custom`s,
pain of family along with friends,
mixed.
fused.
with our own feelings
from a distance but still real.
never forgotten Sophie.
her pain.
torment.
example.
We often go to Whitby
place our respects
in flowers,
and tears.

HIP IDY HOPPITY

Fantastic programme the other day how `hip hop ` changed the world
l agree it really has from the lyrics to the use of vinyl the clothes attitude images identity like a church of sorts lots of different members but also some not so good the use of violence threats intimation lack of morals but this is a style it transforms ignites fuels drives kinda of vision enjoyable its a thang

So I lived my life in a dreamworld
For the rest of my days
Just you and me walkin' hand in hand
In a wishful memory
Oh, I guess that's all
That it would ever be.

Wish I had a time machine
I could make myself go back
Until the day I was born,
And I would live my life again
and rearrange it so that I'll be
Yours from now on.

ce la vie

Hello, yeah, it's been a while.
Not much, how about you?
I'm not sure why I called.
I guess I really just wanted to talk to you.

And I was thinking maybe later on.
We could get together for a while.
It's been such a long time.
And I really do miss your smile.

*I'm not talking about moving in.
And I don't want to change your life.
But there's a warm wind blowing the stars around.
And I'd really love to see you tonight.

We could go walking through a windy park.
Or take a drive along the beach.
Or stay at home and watch TV.
You see it really doesn't matter much to me.
I'm not talking about moving in
And I don't want to change your life
But there's a warm wind blowing the stars around
And I'd really love to see you tonight.

I won't ask for promises.
So you don't have to lie.
We've both played that game before.
Say I love you and say goodbye.

in reality it not the deep blue sea on a glorious
sunny day .....but a muddy pool to walk around

"The only normal people you  know
are the ones you don`t know very well"

We have given the young a world where there is fear, from terrorist acts, fear of economic worry.
Yet blame them for so much . . .they get it..l read today about young people offering parents money to aid economic measures that family are taking...witnessed singing group praising God in a community setting last evening...Been offered help with an event in August . . . HOPE in the youth

so this is freedom

Try not to take for granted fact that l can travel by Ferry, Metro, and own car to work.
Wanted to go to Scarborough yesterday by train but not possible in a day...off to Hebdon bridge early July meeting nearby.
Freedom
Freedom to listen to Bobby Womack..Tavares playing loud on the car stereo...Freedom to sit in the garden..freedom to browse the word of God...free to talk about my health...touch sand...drink a cup of Tea with lemon and mint excellent in this warm weather..
free to ......

Had great walk out yesterday, being out enjoying the good weather.
l suppose not chilly or chilled in front of the TV
can only be healthy, but the concern is what do you eat.

l am on around 6 lots of tablets at present
plus the ever ready spray to enable me to survive
if l get pain or breathless.

from
Hell

Phew near Hull

MYSTERY surrounds an explosion that rocked the quiet East Riding town of Hedon.
Residents have spoken of a "bomb" exploding at the Market Hill car park near St Augustine's Church, just before 2am yesterday.
  1. hedonbomb

Forensic experts and the Royal Logistic Corps bomb disposal unit were at the scene of the explosion, which is near a nursery school and two doctors' surgeries.

MAYBE WE WON`T MEET AGAIN

. . . she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven, with a picture of the ocean and the beach
The simple words he wrote her
Said he loved her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near,Wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, "
I miss you so, wish you were here"
