The view from the decks you tend to be working on the mix.
At some events your a bit higher up
or maybe in the DJ `s booth...
all fun and get a sense of the crowd
can be looking at timing on each deck,
or even got vinyl deck working and twin CD decks. Further another vinyl deck either side of system mixer,amps, leads. Just in the front of you a group can be setting up to performance or live band  
Using another speaker system which getting tested 
Or dance trio or group warming up.
If it in open space outside, can be all sorts gathering.
