A personal view on the August Riots

We build up either good or bad in our relationships with each other
Why do police feel that is any different in the relationship they have with others?
The biggest issue l have had with the police is the way they have dealt with myself as a motorist travelling at 32 miles an hour in a 30 mile zone results in £70 fine, not having my seatbelt on road near my home in Hull results in £60 fine.
Many false accusations unproven arrested bringing some friends over from Eire no charges brought but holding my diary and laptop for nearly 6 months.
Home raided 3 times looking for weapons and drugs, (true if you wanna see the newspaper reports let me know).
Lot of mates have had worse experiences so l have no symphony for them.
Look at the way they handle football supporters, l have witnessed cruel strikes against footie fans when watching Hull city and Liverpool, Everton, Sheffield Wednesday, Grimsby.
It was disgusting watching those watching rioters in action around London and rest of the UK. Built up like Robocop with so much protection yet they acted like chickens and cowards.
l cannot accept the riots where just about looting, there was so much else brought into this act, yet l hear very limited response

But also others not a lot older 30`s and 40`s the looting spread into burning down of property and ruining lives.
6 People were killed and several sickening scenes were recorded for the TV revolutionist to witness
This riot was televised almost as it happened.
WHY.
I live in a very deprived area, and it is worse than when l was starting out in youth work in 1976. As a volunteer at Cott road Baptist, having come to faith in the September of that year.
In 1984 l became a professional being paid to be a youth worker.
l got around £60 a week.
We do not Riot here,
SHOULD WE?
However shops with nothing in them, burnt out vehicles, rows of boarded up streets is the normal.
Lack of Education
Low wages
Decades of unemployment
Poor diets
Single parent’s homes
Jealousy greed violence
Limited resource....... WHY?
Why is this normal?
