beautiful persons climbing high

It will get better,
times of downhill
will improve.
Testing times end, then you look back and progress.
ln the garden at Gethsemane the disciples that first maunday Thursday evening...nothing could have been worse.
But at that time Jesus was descending into hell and achieving the victory.
At that time no one knew.

Whatever you are going through now.
Know the Lord God on high wants you to soar like Eagles.

wild in the country

feelings, desires, needs,... the youth group really all impressed me.
helped me a lot when you witness the personal growth
that occurs when on simple trails
it good to be out and about our locality
cheap but needs to be well managed and planned.
I found the way they interact with each other on these occasions
they provide lot of answers and confirmations about my view, beliefs, thoughts,
Do not believe I am not alone in using such a method

what a great occassion

so much sharing goes on when we engage in clifftop..woodland...coastal walks
l witness good human activity
interpersonal top of the agenda
so much human development
compassion
honesty
synergy
communication
talking
sharing
walking
all like
John Powell hints at in `why am l afraid to tell you`. . .

journey clues

more clues so what will happen is..
we give out a printed form with these pictures on...

they follow these having agreeded on the order
they want to journey along.

the path they choose to follow should allow discussion
agreement
some dealing with slight conflict
achievement

this will be quite an adventure
some risk as we travel along cliff edge
and down valleys toward the sea across rivers

journeys end should find us all tired and together.

tonites walk along the coast

These are the picture clues for what we are doing tonite

CAN THE YOUTH GROUP WORK OUT THE WHERE FROM THESE PICTURES

OR which direction we are going in?

the Harvest is just coming in with people working in the fields across these bails of straw lies one of my paths

hull city maul liverpool

LIVERPOOL suffered their first pre-season defeat as they lost 3-0 at Hull City today.

New signings Stewart Downing, Jordan Henderson and Alexander Doni all made their debuts but the Reds were soundly beaten.

Robert Brady, Robert Koren and Jay Simpson were on target as Kenny Dalglish fielded a different XI in each half.

Both sides wore black armbands in tribute to those killed the Norway terrorist attack and it was Hull who started brightly

on the coast and woods

Using local resources to develop group skills.
Sharing food... drinks ...also our own feelings
This is the week share how life is!
Honesty.
We like to get out and about.
We are lucky where we live but challenge is we are very rural and connections without car can be difficult.
Sometimes our views are insular also important to seek others views and learn their perspectives

The enviroment is very working class
underclass and anglo.

Hammock can be a good thing to have around your site just a bit away from main tents
place of privacy where a person or odd few can be alone and away
while still in the corner of your groups eye
being alone and apart is normal process of growing up
do not be alarmed but try and allow while also engage soon after

To the credit of hull city manager NP I've never heard idicate anything unprofessional about Bullard, hopefully they might be able to build a relationship that means hull city and the player can get some return of the pitch.

NIGEL Pearson is ready to hand Jimmy Bullard a clean slate and challenge the midfielder to win a place in his Hull City plans for the new season.

Bullard's inclusion in today's travelling party represents a clear change in tack from City

volunteering and the new slave markets

sat here unpaid and have just done 8 hours previous
later today it will be another 3 hours
Friday 5 or more

not a mention on funding
got 4 bids in at present

there is an argument around work and the big society
my view and that what you get a lot on this blog is that to hide the true unemployment figures and discourage investigation of real options strong enthuse on giving time for free.
Nice enough gesture but still does not equal real money for work
a
wage is needed unless any who knows of bakers who are volunteering free bread
butchers who are volunteering free bread
car mechanics who are volunteering free MOT`s
greengrocers who are volunteering free fruit and veg

on yer maltese bus

On July 3rd Malta says goodbye to the old orange buses as the entire system is replaced by newer, more comfortable and greener buses operated by Arriva which is the largest provider of passenger transport in Europe.

The new buses have been purchased specifically to handle the hills and winding roads of the islands. Many of the bus routes have also been changed and will make it more effecient with direct routes from town to town rather than using the Valletta hub system which made it very cumbersome for many Maltese who had to change buses. The new buses are all aquamarine in colour.

While everyone is excited about the new system there is also a sense of nostalgic sadness as the old buses are retired. Many of these buses started life in the UK over 50 years ago, they were imported to Malta and their bodies were rebuilt. The buses were owned by individuals who were usually also the drivers. Many of these buses featured alot of detailing and decoration including certain spiral designs which can also be found on the Maltese Luzzus. Others opted for lucky images such as horse shoes or the name of their patron saint painted in front or on the side.

Words are not enough

Unison general secretary David Prentis, who criticised the raids on pensions and pay packets, said: "Here in the North-East, as so often before we are bearing the brunt."
As so often with Prentis he can only talk the talk
never got a real solution like the sad MF walking around the gala with t-shirt that stated
he rather be a picket then a scab
Prentis lives in the past
A past that speaks loud but never has anything to say,
A past were people marched but still got beaten,
A past were failure to look ahead.
Plan ahead.
A past were political solution failed.
Loud words among the faithful, (old, very old, faithful) were applauded but will not do anything.
Words are not enough

durham miners gala 2011 part 2

Thousends of people, including myself and a bus load from our area, turned out to see the banners, brass brands, drink tea, supp real ale.
but also get worried by the so called`barnstorming` speeches at the 127th Miners' Gala in Durham at the weekend.

got soaked down to my flowered undies by drenching showers.
but being a true northern man this failed to failed to dampen my spirit,
and the ranks of the marchers were swelled by public sector workers with large balloons, highlighting their fight against job and pension cuts.
Marchers arrived from the crack of dawn on Saturday to begin their procession through the streets - with more than 80 banners paraded through the city, led by more than 40 bands from throughout the country.

DURHAM miners gala

Most banners represent lodges of the National Union of Mineworkers in the Durham Area. However, other unions have also been represented, particularly in recent years, as well as Union banners from other parts of the UK, including NUM lodges of the Yorkshire branch, and South Wales.

They are made of silk, are rectangular, and hang from a cross member, from which guide ropes are held by those carrying it.
Traditionally banners were draped in black cloth when there had been a death in the pit during the previous year. More recently following the closure of pits across the county they are draped with black cloth on significant anniversaries of disasters at the colliery they represent.
Many banners contain explicit socialist or communist references, having renderings of Marx, Lenin, and other prominent figures such as miners' leaders, or politicians.

No deep mines remain in the Durham Coalfield, down from the over hundred that were present at the coalfield's peak. Despite this, the Gala continues to be organised.

The 122nd Gala, held in 2006, attracted over 50,000 people, and approximately 100,000 attended in 2009,[8] making it one of the biggest political gatherings in Europe.

on top of the cliffs july 5th 2011

Wednesday while out walking Shawn noticed a painter up on the cliffs as we headed that in that direction. with interest the group approached and received warm greeting.
Some stayed and chatted while the rest of us went onto the beach and played around in the caves and pools.

We live in a really beautiful place

Slowly being reclaimed from years of abuse from mining industry
now we have Cod along with Mackerel being fished from our beach

This encounter came along as we went about normal youth provision,
encounter between skilled painter, . . group of young men
Who came away inspired!
Shared with rest of us on the beach this encounter, his painting, his manner.
Just a simple chat as youthie `out and about`

Ordinary became something better and beautiful.

are you ready for the time of your life

are you ready for the time of your life
yesterday l just felt the need to go up on the moors and pray
l sat just sat near my car all alone on the moors and prayed

are you ready .....he`s coming

like sheep

And when you see a can I see a crook
And when you see a crowd I see a flock
It’s sheep we’re up against
Sheep we’re up against

Sometimes I get so angry with the simple life they lead
The shepherds smile seems to confirm my fears
They’ve never questioned anything, they’ve never disagreed
Sometimes I think they must have wool in their ears
And when you see a can I see a crook
And when you see a crowd I see a flock
It’s sheep we’re up against
Sheep we’re up against

Sometimes I get so angry with the simple life they lead
The shepherds smile seems to confirm my fears
They’ve never questioned anything, they’ve never disagreed
Sometimes I think they must have wool in their ears
And when you see a can I see a crook
And when you see a crowd I see a flock
It’s sheep we’re up against
Sheep we’re up against

When I was young they used to get me counting sheep
But the counting I did was all in vain
No when I’m tired and I’m trying to get to sleep
I count humans jumping onto trains

fitness4 life in the woods

we don`t know whats ahead

This week has been very strange,
On Sunday l student was baptised at my old church cottingham road baptist
rev Richard spoke about how we don`t know what is ahead true that
this last 2 weeks worked with Minaz who born in a village in Pakistan.
Chatted as she dealt with a situation in young people home she works in.
Mahmood came to see me and check how l am feeling, he was born in Syria we chat regular also had meals at each others home
both Minaz and Mahmood are Muslim by faith
Paterfus and Morusey are Roma from Romania they are Orthodox Christian and we have been good friends for 11 years indeed l have slept at homes many times and they stayed at mine
Joe Barnard born in Grimsby,he is now in Afghanistan the temperature he told me is 50degrees
l laughed it is 9 degree here what we call boiling so l might go and cool off in the North Sea.

l guess it what Lord Jesus called fullness of life
September 18th 1976 l was baptised l had no idea what was ahead
but this is true

But I know whom I have believed,
and am persuaded that he is able
to keep that which I've committed
unto him against that day.
I know not how this saving faith
to me he did impart,
nor how believing in his word
wrought peace within my heart.

I know not how the Spirit moves,
convincing us of sin,
revealing Jesus through the word,
creating faith in him.

I know not when my Lord may come,
at night or noonday fair,
nor if I walk the vale with him,
or meet him in the air.

But I know whom I have believed,
and am persuaded that he is able
to keep that which I've committed
unto him against that day.

Storms....huge weather variates at present

Huge winds brought chills waves and stormy conditions Despite this turmoil Got dressed, got out  Excitement conversation's  Pictures and...

MAYBE WE WON`T MEET AGAIN

. . . she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven, with a picture of the ocean and the beach
The simple words he wrote her
Said he loved her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near,Wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, "
I miss you so, wish you were here"
