Yu haf no idr how bludy guod I feel rite now.

Some doctor on television this morning said that the way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started.
So I looked around my house to see things I'd started and hadn't finished and, before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Chardonnay, a bodle of Baileys, a butle of wum, a pockage of Prunglies, tha mainder of bot Prozic and Valum scriptins, the res of the Chesescke an a box a choclets.
Yu haf no idr how bludy guod I feel rite now.

back to Whitby

Whitby's skyline is dominated by the ruins of St. Hilda's Abbey, high on Whitby's East Cliff. Spreading below Whitby, a maze of alleyways and narrow streets run down to the busy quayside.

From the old town of Whitby, 199 steps lead up to the parish church of St. Mary, whose churchyard on Whitby's East Cliff gave Bram Stoker the inspiration to write his world famous book, Dracula

Whitby is situated on the Yorkshire Coast. To the south lies the coastal villages and resorts of Ravenscar, Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington. All these are well within a short drive from Whitby.

Not every one is skilled
on the bikes
but a lot of fun trying.

The weather looked
like it was gonna
beat us.

The sun comes out
and magic,
like the smile,
l and others
need to wear more.

Bike skills.

kyle after completing
a circuit of the track,
this is where you leave
them to do there own thing.
A little bit of
showmanship,
some words an adult

Subculture.

autumn is here

there is so much life
but also stillness going on in the background

a sense of expectation
will we fall off?
or perform some great bike skill

despicable me

Despicable Me, the new animated from produced by Chris Melandandri, who also produced Ice Age: The Meltdown and Horton Hears A Who, is one of the summer's stand out movies. Steve Carell, Jason Segel, Miranda Cosgrove, and Russell Brand are perfect actors to lead this at times hilarious, at times tear jerking animated tale. Will Arnett, Kristen Wiig, Danny R. McBride, Julie Andrews and Jermain Clement make for a worthy supporting cast.

Gru (voiced by Carell) is a evil genius who only wants to win the affection of his cold-hearted mother (voiced by Andrews), something he has NEVER had. His only friends are Dr. Nefario, a aging scientist (voiced by Brand), and his army of minions (voiced by directors Peiere Coffin and Chris Reneud, and Jermain Clement), Twinky like creatures with both one and two eyes, it varies.

Blessed ...Blessed.

One of my first delights is too find somewhere to have a cuppa
and a chat with any youths on the residential.
its Joy that the young people like
in simple ways.
it all about the development of the relationship.
l never, never, never tire,
of this experience.

Perhaps our safest and earliest memories of childhood
is a ride on a donkey.
As we get older and life gets a different pace, we forget such joys!
Was it our first big adventure with mum or dad holding us
safely on the donkey?
Sometimes we throw out the sandbox,
includes the simple acceptance of Jesus as Lord and Saviour.

No longer the weather for barbeque's
but what fun this summer has been
drives out every week.
Several residential, included, Greenbelt
Robin Hoods bay.
Climbing mountains.
Blessed. . . .blessed. . . . blessed

Parking fines

Lacking fellowship

Some travel around options not opening up
Frustrated
Lacking good group experiences

But this is life on a Thursday feeling like Monday kind of day

The origin of the term "Malta" is uncertain, and the modern-day variation derives from the Maltese language. The most common etymology derives from the Greek word μέλι (meli), 'honey'. The Greeks called the island Μελίτη (Melite) meaning "honey-sweet," possibly due to Malta's unique production of honey; an endemic species of bee lives on the island, giving it the popular nickname the "land of honey". The Romans went on to call the island Melita, the romanization of the Greek Μελίτη Another etymology is the Phoenician word Maleth, the Phoenician name for the islands, meaning "a haven" in reference to Malta's many bays and coves.

Alex Ferguson Manager of Manchester utd
hinted at several things when discussing Wayne Rooney.
Petulance, greed, only hearing there side of issue,
It like that sometimes in the youthie
all we ask for is a bit of
Respect
But even that asking a lot.
Growing up in a caring Church youth setting,
l was respected and learn respect.
It was natural to talk, share, but we were also drilled,
and choices to lead were given.
respect the club the only thing l said to the lad was respect this club

Bridge to far

A bridge between communities,
between the old and the young,
To be a bridge in such a way
means sometimes, people are going to walk over you!
it can be painful.
Often in youth work, we boast that we are there to serve
To be a bridge.
well guess what
it costs,
not in a angry, kinda, painful way.
But more a matter, statement of fact kinda way
it costs.

the web of ?

Hope became reality for the Chilean miners,
Hope existed once has Hull city rose up to the dizzy heights of the premier league.
Hope is disappearing for the Liverpool fans,
Hope way back when l was a child that poverty would disappear.

Parklife in Northern locality

There a fantastic park at south shields.
We have been there for the last 3 weeks, sandcastles, walks, chips.
Strategy for happy teenagers
Sometimes the young people share great depths with the workers.
Here Chris in picture with the girls,
The young people often remind you of some disclosure you gave them.
Music you have bought, or like size of your family.
Or issue around not being able to afford something

When time to reflect comes into the situation.
May ponder how fortunate we are with the trust young people place in us workers.
Those who take time to get to know them.
Relationships formed, personal sharing are the foundations of what l do.
Profile of me as professional youth worker involves relationship, sharing, and asking questions?
While trying to share the 'Lords kingdom principles'.

LOW TIDE

Sea is very calm and tides low at present,
we had a very normal weather issue last week.
The sea rolled in a mist which hung over our area for three days.
An envelope, my description, appears to give some a chance to do nothing
the view in front of your face is limited visibility,
the sound is muffed (is that a word)
this is felt worse because we are so rural and remote.

in Hull city where l was born

josh Nicky bobby and Chris, marvell at the sound plus image of the laughing policeman.
This was a song from the radio of my childhood, often played by Ed Stewpot on children's favorites, reenacted at museum in Hull.
Even my first car is now a museum piece.

This was at the Humber bridge with all the youth group,
my time with this group actually come to end,we are working hard to ensure smooth hand over between the workers coming in, while l exit!
also collected 4 other youngstars who are not in this picture.

lots of chatting! laughter! frolics.
very Minor disclosures,
lots of forming has already taken place within this group.
They are not one group. . . but around 3 groups
One of the young men in this picture is starting to drift.... and l have chatted about the need to stay attached.... not performing with another group anywhere.
what groups do you fit into?
what was your youthgroup like when you where 15?
Can l ask!

we are heading to Hull tomorrow for the Fair. Europe's largest.
The fog,sea mist has covered all the land today locally
that is so often rule at the coast. Really not sure how tomorrows journey will be . . .not just the weather

Children and Young peoples behaviour has not been good, the last few days
not able to put my finger on the reason.
Although experience teals me that occasionally this is the way of youthwork

Some aggression and rudeness plus bullying is at the surface
its a tough call at present.

hull risen

Hull rose from the basement division to the Championship within four years and moved out of their dilapidated Boothferry Park ground to the state-of-the-art
KC Stadium in 2002.

Hull city football success on the field paved the way for the 2007 ,and a man l do not like the sound off along with a buffoon called Brown, called Bartlett become owner and install Paul Duffen as chairman.

Within a year, Hull had been promoted to the top flight for the first time in their 104-year history. a great goal bt dean windass my brother chris was at wembly but told me he could not watch the last few minutes, l travelled to middlesboro ,newcastle and sunderland as well as watching them against spurs while in the premier league

however last season,(2009) the tigers were relegated amid debts that had spiralled to around £30m courtesy of a wage bill that peaked just short of £40m.

harbour lights

Went for a walk around 20.30 last evening,
watched a boat sail out of the harbour,
cold,
dark,
chilly and windy,
waters rough,
it took a while to leave the harbour walls and pier.

Me, am preparing for a move soon or very early next year.
Bit anxious
don`t like all the moving around comes with this position,
however it can be exciting make new contacts.
Love, Love,  Love when old friend visit, miss my immediate family and being established in one setting,  that kind of gone for myself.

But there are rewards from moving around.
Know lots of areas of this country fairly well
had a real exciting ministry.
Seen some great God happenings,
witnessed Church working, breathing, wrestling.

Storms....huge weather variates at present

Huge winds brought chills waves and stormy conditions Despite this turmoil Got dressed, got out  Excitement conversation's  Pictures and...

MAYBE WE WON`T MEET AGAIN

. . . she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven, with a picture of the ocean and the beach
The simple words he wrote her
Said he loved her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near,Wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, "
I miss you so, wish you were here"
