burnin bridges

well we all went to see the abbey, listen to the Bells ringing out,
Also let off few candle type balloons.
First one went brilliant.
Next effort got stuck in a tree, hanging from the bridge,
this tree then caught alight.
It stayed alight.
l/we decided the best way was to run off to the car and drive away,no ctv no witnesses.
we looked at the damage from the riverside,(well worse) and it was well alight.
eventually it went out after 18 minutes.
what can l say?
the only option l could see was urinating on the fire from the bridge wall but this would have mad matters worse.(arrested,exposer,useless idea)
life is like this illustration.... matters sometimes get outta control..
...things end up burning down around ones feet!
