Postcard to present Goverment.

Present government in UK has announced a household grants scheme.

The money will go to town halls in October to distribute to households hard hit by rising energy  costs, the end of furlough today, and the scrapping of the £20 uplift in UC in just few days.

A small grant could be used to meet daily needs for struggling families , items such as food, clothing, rising energy bills.

The Chancellor quoted: “Everyone should be able to afford the essentials, and we are committed to ensuring that is the case".

Admitting today that families will need to apply for emergency grants, simply to meet the cost of basics like food, further rising heating through winter, appears to myself. It is clear the Chancellor knows the damage present Government and its policies have caused.

You must ensure that an issue like poverty is directly addressed.For all of my working further my professional life in Community and pastoral concerns. Poverty has been a huge issue.

Stupidly l thought we were as concerned people addressing, further finding solutions to this issue. It was in the hands of policy setters to come up with ways through the poverty issue.

Those in government failed, those in opposition failed, Churches stood up and challenged.

Poverty has got worse.

something noone can be proud about.

We have more food banks in UK then MacDonald's takeaways.

Those of you in public office are responsible. 

Lack of action by `professional poverty talkers` is embarrassing

you get paid for talking about poverty `Hypocrites` drive away from a problem you parachuted into simply to pass working day.

Migration watch news items, Validity of Biblical reason.

The WOKE CULT often lacks good models FOR debate, insufficient training, nor support. Those charged to combat this CULT.

The WOKE CULT Membership, shows real lack of understanding about a commitment to benefit the collective, THAT IS SENSE OF COMMUNITY.

What we are is Church ,Our DNA `gathered as a community of believers`.  hypothesized to influence judgments of Faith issues, spiritual growth, small political issues, persons development.

         group dynamics.We gather often for events.

We seek to be together .We share our beliefs

THE PRESSURE IS CONSTANT

There is growing concern across the political spectrum that the rising cost of living is about to put immense strain on families on low-incomes, who were already struggling as a result of cuts and freezes to social security.

What does a “very difficult winter” look like for low-income families?

How are you able to measure what is difficult?

Many do not waste resources,and many go without acts of kindness to others is very evident all around like at our food-bank in Aldbrough nearly two years of goodness further kindness shared,as directed by God.

Families already under constant pressure will be pushed to breaking point, as will the 1.7 million people who receive benefits like UC ,JS, who cannot work due to caring for others, disability or illness. We must not cut Universal Credit INDEED WE SHOULD HAVE INCREASED THE AMOUNTS.

A combination of rising energy bills,food prices,petrol, consumer goods prices, coupled with benefits cuts, will add an extra £710 in costs for poorer households.

The DWP are again being very harsh in ways dealing with people.

The pressure is constant.

MP  Kwasi Kwarteng told the BBC on Tuesday the UC cut could make it "a very difficult winter" for low income families.

But l feel it going to be difficult for very many just more difficult if cannot get out of the hole.

We have had this awful pandemic...leaving community of Europe ...world events like Brexit...war in Afghanistan...poor political governance. 

There is little hope

but we have to persist

It made life....more comfortable.

Not easy still been hard....but if it not better following the Jesus way.

The woman's football played at international level in empty grounds with little interest was more important then our concerns for this action.

Why how do we allow poor standard of news coverage to process concerns ,who makes the choice that such an item of huge concern does not even get value.

Does this in anyway say something about the character of God ,further what does this say about the character of people who claim to be following him.?

The pregnant Southern California mom who was beaten by the Taliban as she attempted to flee Afghanistan has left the country. California GOP Rep. Darrell Issa (right) announced that the 25-year-old mom, identified only as 'Nasria' (left) has escaped Afghanistan, leaving behind her husband who she married in Afghanistan. Issa previously tweeted that Nasria had 'braved beatings and harassment by the Taliban trying to get past their checkpoints to return to the US.' Nasria was among the hundreds of Americans who were left stranded in Kabul after the final US forces left on August 30

`The East` has some striking narrative and at times disturbing story.The dialogue ,got great deal to do with each persons journey into being part of this group.Modern activists is different. You may feel detached and may have echos of some Catholic teaching.Certainly one meal time image that l had forgotten.its well handled and makes you engage. opens Lot of conversations and actions regarding issues,feel this could promote further dialogue so worth time spent viewing.
Personally did not recognize many of key actors but they still talented bunch.Tried not to spoil the story, outcome pretty unexpected......

This hostility is concerning, although l jest about there menace, its is a worry.

Worry that some Followers of Jesus signed up and see no kingdom values being represented.

Presently l know some ,odd few,it is possible you can meet them, Hostile crowd —just accused but violated no laws, no workplace rules either.

Guess what ,they have broken. ( been accused of having broken) social codes, Platform values,Student codecs, possibly relating race, sex, personal behavior, or even acceptable humor, Such rules,values would not  have existed five years ago,  even five months ago. Some have made egregious errors of judgment. Some have done nothing at all. It is not always easy to tell.

We followers of Jesus are dependent on debate,disagreement and allowing excluded to be present and invited.

We follow a God who forgives..

Prophet called Jesus who often engaged with those on outside...but also engaged with those on inside..Pharisee...Zealots...rulers,..Governess.

We want to get rid of difficult people, different ,demanding people, yes seen target old people,rich people but also white working class,privileged white people, some would suggest those eccentric people . New Church and this new religion does not want these impurities.

Already they are being driven away from the creative professions where they used to thrive.

`Jordan Peterson` is one very evident example..l am very afraid that Society becomes a , duller, less interesting place.But more concerned for those followers of Jesus who do not understand fruits of the spirit identified with Grace, Compassion,Forgiveness.

For many for first time they want to be part of something...The Church and following a discipline that is a life journey no longer holds any interest.

They got spun a lie. and now dine out with wrong crowd.
