Took a route not so pleasant . . ..

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less travelled by,
And that has made all the difference
. . . . ,.l took the road that not everyone takes but it not been most pleasant nor is it well populated . .

A conversation took place that enabled this journey to reroute travel differently.
Again choice l made but then,did not understand  . . .only with past becoming the present  . .further transforming into  . . . . . . . . .. here and now.
Only that it is now . . here can l understand the difference.
Here in the present, now, it at times can be challenging place to be

BOOK END MOMENTS

This life appears to have no answers
we need all sort of capitalist trappings to make us happy.
one of the best moments in my life is when people visit ,then we sit listen to music.

LOVE PREPARING MEAL FOR OTHERS ALSO
WALKING ALONG THE COAST

HOLDING A CONVERSATION

SHARING SOMETHING FOUND TO BE TRUE

PONDERING ON PAST MOMENT WITH SOMEONE I LOVED DEEPLY

BUT THIS LIFE..well it is better shared, the journey is a twosome race
This life is better lived with someone
That what my years of sojourner tell me . . .

All the boxes matter

So enjoyed the walks and cooking did for others yesterday
Played simple games of bowls ...
Still chilly by the sea

Thinking about job applications
Making some cash . .
Keeping home functional

The stuff that is minor
Is no less important . .
That is a spiritual journey we struggle with

Happy with knowledge that deep stuff requires us to reflect at great level
We think  . . . that the spiritual stuff . .useful further has richness
The rest . . that's in minor boxes  . .it's not that important

It's all valuable
Requires our efforts and nourishes us
But the important issue is this . . .
If it important to us... along with improving quality of  our life
God interested . . .God gets excited by all this stuff

Do you get that
God s interested in the everyday stuff of our ordinary lifes
George Harrison . . Many would say deeply spiritual guy
Was mega concerned about garden ,music, films, plus others LIFES
He had faith in higher stuff . .his life was mixture of lot of stuff
Like ours should be . . God likes that other stuff

garden party

Went to a garden party to reminisce with my old friends
A chance to share old memories and play our songs again
When I got to the garden party, they all knew my name
No one recognized me, I didn't look the same
But it's all right now, I learned my lesson well.
You see, ya can't please everyone, so ya got to please yourself
People came from miles around, everyone was there
Yoko brought her walrus, there was magic in the air
And over in the corner, much to my surprise
Mr. Hughes hid in Dylan's shoes wearing his disguise
But it's all right now, I learned my lesson well.
You see, ya can't please everyone, so ya got to please yourself
Played them all the old songs, thought that's why they came
No one heard the music, we didn't look the same
I said hello to "Mary Lou", she belongs to me
When I sang a song about a honky-tonk, it was time to leave
But it's all right now, I learned my lesson well.
You see, ya can't please everyone, so ya got to please yourself
Someone opened up a closet door and out stepped Johnny B. Goode
Playing guitar like a-ringin' a bell and lookin' like he should
If you gotta play at garden parties, I wish you a lotta luck
But if memories were all I sang, I rather drive a truck
And it's all right now, learned my lesson well
You see, ya can't please everyone, so you got to please yourself

In some cases you will see Girls especially are being encouraged to identify as boys if they don’t fit a stereotype. All debate is shut down as transphobic and ignorant if you do not accept the current thinking.
You get labelled as oppressive if you voice Christian concern.
lets be clear . . .BBC has been at the front of our new `cultural` and liberal understanding.
lets be also clear that the numbers should be concerning. as they point again to inferring ..

we do not live

The Humber Bridge Board said,When asked about high number of suicides at this place,: "The figures shed light on some of the fantastic work our staff and the emergency services carry out in relation to Emotionally Distressed Individuals who come to the Humber Bridge.
"As the figures reveal, many do come to the bridge each year, but the vast, vast majority are identified quickly, managed appropriately and leave unharmed to be directed towards the mental health services and support they need".
it appears to myself that we do not desire the will to speak and address these issue about value others place on the lives they no longer want to live.
ln the district of Easington l knew some who took life by standing local in front of trains
life is hard
we do not as a society want to make it easier for others the voting below suggest that
we carry on not being uncaring, but not being really bothered.

What's the best way of preventing suicides at

Every river l try to cross

Every hill l try to climb
Every ocean try to swim
All the days of my life l 'd rather be with you

So the song goes the river by Runrig . . . 90's l think
Very spiritual and religious talking about nature faith journeys and God

Life is hard
Life can be short
Life is expensive
Just need to be a winner . . . Where you start in this race can be limiting further a burden.
That a bit of stuff from my heart

Just to be a winner . . .here it is to the `losers in the game` . . Let's raise a glass
Life is tough when not winning!

sometimes hope just is not enough

Do not know
how to bring hope

that hurts myself
struggling to find that hope

life appears to be hopeless
for a few

IT PART OF THE RICH TAPESTRY
THAT WE CALL LIFE

life is hard

life does appear to be hopeless

Unanswered prayers

Birth - painful
Grade school - expelled
High school - twagging most of time
Adulthood - taxes `
Marriage - misery . . is joking with you . .`pet

Hull still remains one letter from Hell . . . .

What has been a sad week
Friend dies due to mental health issue that arose
Section act against young people taken from home where physical abuse was a threat
More sadness from a friend who does not know where to turn
See so many homeless folks
do not know how to bring hope
Struggle myself getting towards the week
Just survive
That not a place of hope
The thinline between heaven and here in Hull appears wide
Paradise not lived here
Social network
Emotional literacy
Less of economic wellbeing
Dispirited people

Returning to bad ole days when people ate less earned less were less valued . . . .

Less talk talk

There are many communities across the North of England, who feel let down by the poverty, blightedness, such communities are struggling on daily basis to cope with the pressures. Placed on them in Truth by Rich southerners.
Trouble is they keep meeting and attending workshops to discuss the issues .
But they do nothing.

Talk talk ..talk . .talk . . talk . talk.. talk and more talk
I say,
That this is the time time for action
Too much talk leads thinking.
Thinking done with nothing been achieved, need to talk as finished
But its time for action.

The Government announced this morning that the maximum stake for fixed odds betting terminals, will be cut to just £2. Currently stakes can be as high as £100, and placed every 20 seconds.

Action like portrayed in the great TV series ..'Broken'..
Where they destroyed with sledgehammers gambling machines.
Action it can be relevant
Better then words.
People like words
Words stifle actions

Need to Change my view

Looking towards future not sure about further struggle to understand why things are like currently are

But don't feel threatened so much by events often need to remind myself of times like this in the past

Secure yourself in past happenings....someone wise ones aid that

'what older people have above youth is simply experience'

 those words are true

Life journeys onwards tomorrow  . ..Doctors having not even been in a surgery

for three months that's a biggie for me!

Someone more modern said this .  .

'We glorify the past when the future dead ahead'

Well l do not know the future but something has to change.

Faith to journey

  1. “The proportion of people in Britain who describe themselves as having no religion is at its highest ever level.”
  2. “More than half (53%) of the British public now describe themselves as having ‘no religion’”
  3. “71% of young people aged 18-24 said they had no religion (up 9% in just one year).”

CAN YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELF AS SPIRITUAL
faith journey from
 a time loved by many
IS THAT WHAT A LOT OF PEOPLE DO?

but either way we are just not relevant and need

some hard thinking

hard talking

hard sharing

deconstruction

faith journeying

prayers and silence to ponder...reflect...ACT.

hold on

never forget that

theology is simply

how you and l

make sense of God

if my faith does not give me hope on a day
when others are happy and l am not
if there is no hope when the challenges of life feel heavy
if l struggle and feel beaten
if then my faith is of no hope
then it not worth holding

Bullying, mocking or intimidation towards person on the basis of their Christian faith is unacceptable and needs to be recognised as such.

In the 'bonnie highlands' of scotland someone's suggesting intolerance toward brothers in Jesus

’Intolerance’

. . . .On the subject of Christain bullying in the schools of the highlands,(very surprised if true)!
Well it not been lone since l departed Escorsia. But things can not change all this much
I am wary that there May be a bit of politics in the below comments . . .

Maybe it time for me to get on my trusty station saddle up and head back  . . . ?' thataways'

Free Church of Scotland minister Revd Alasdair Macleod agreed. He believes there is a ‘growing problem of intolerance’ towards Christian pupils.

He said: “It feels to me that schools are becoming an increasingly hostile environment for Christian pupils, and this hostility must stop.

“Bullying, mocking or intimidation towards pupils on the basis of their Christian faith is unacceptable and needs to be recognised as such.

“Until this happens, many pupils and their families will continue to be reluctant to speak out.”

. . . .Bullying appears to be so evident . . But we are a long way from very much more then that

Let's get proper perspective on this issue wonder sometimes about faith press around Christianty  . .

love . . .it not like in a song

We rolled across the high plains
Deep into the mountains
Felt so good to me
Finally feelin' free
Somewhere along a high road
The air began to turn cold
She said she missed her home
I headed on alone

Stopped in a bar to have a brew
Met a girl and we had a few drinks
And I told her what I'd decided to do

She looked out the window a long long moment
Then she looked into my eyes
She didn't have to say a thing
I knew what she was thinkin'

words like `heart` `soul`

The fans are disillusioned and can’t see a way out of this current predicament.
Slowly over the course of the past two years the heart has been taken out of the club.
It’s not been quick, it’s been an agonising slow operation which piece by piece has taken away
the heart and soul of the club and right now, fans are wondering is it going to ever get better!

They are just talking about soccer club, However it relates also to life, perhaps how we may be
experiencing things at present. OFTEN words such as `heart` `soul` .
Also sentences,
` like heart ripped out`
`it going to get better`
The emotion with the drama where sport/entertainment/life collide
mesh up fusion like also music.
Pursuant maybe its this style, not that style
gospel cannot be `RnB` but it soulful and uplifting
gospel can not be dance yet it got such a great beat

life being lived at present is a great challenge
but my journey tells me `l been this way before`!
yes it tougher, unsure about tomorrow, but this l will say
 . . . God is with me.....

Faith is not some week knee response to good times and the plenty
. .it about the whole of the stuff.
The whole of the stuff that makes up life

Looking back . . .longing feeling strange

Took my first residential at Cayton bay back in 1986
although been before it took a new meaning when l was in charge

Like them . . before myself,  we found visiting new place brought some fears.
                      but so many joys
We grew at a funny pace
      Learnt about trusting
Those far off days . . . . . God felt closer
There was No TV or social media
We played rounders and such games for hours                                       late at nite in the sun
Sat around a fire after cooked meal
             Walked so much
Talked at great depth

Opened up to each other as relationship developed.
We never went back the same people!
As l grew older and more Responsibility grew in my position,
discovered different vital meaning, to these Times away.
Many times the staff as we are called and the users  . . all felt one.
One group
One journey
One hope
One in the challenges

Yesterday Looked sadly out across this bay,
the view  . . . ., longing for yesterday  . . .?

MEANWHILE BACK IN MY FORMER POSTAL

People in Easington Colliery, though, talk instead about the closure, last year, of another significant employer - the Walkers crisps factory in Peterlee, and the recent introduction of Universal Credit meaning some claimants have had to go weeks without benefits. Things appear to be getting worse, in many ways, rather than better.

If he a bum how come he perfect

This day . .this faith l hold is reconstructing

How We moved to deliver a blow in boxing was crucial to the energy spent

The movement of your sparring partner and the study of his movements was important

Like the Practice in the gym

Work outs further training and dedication.  All vital.

Old ways appear to have been lost it not about
just climbing in the ring  . . .but about the science of the sport

A new constructing happened, the sport changed as l am no longer involved do not really care!

Same is true of the faith l hold

We are in a reconstruction period a lot is changing

How we move in this society is important

How we commit ourselves in the community's we are placed

The bible was written over a Period of thousand years

But In that collection of books still some vital truths . . . Like justice, challenging oppression, love, relationships

You could politely knock . . .

"The Egyptians, the Greeks, the Romans, and the Hebrews all recognized the sanctity of places of worship as refuges for the pursued: The long arm of the law stopped at the threshold of the temple."

There was a NO Knocking on the door

The beach sometimes it not the safe place you wish

Sanctuary from hot weather with cold walk in a pool along the coast

Yet ponder  . .seek answers in my heart ..reflect . .offer up patient choices . .prayer

                                 Still my heart feels sad

The son will rise as each day begins . . .But how do l great the son

Christians are the world’s most persecuted religious group, according to studies Christians and other Non-Muslim minorities throughout the Muslim world are being persecuted for being non-Muslims. The Christian community in Iraq and Syria was completely annihilated by radical Muslims, anyone who could not escape and refused to convert to Islam was executed. The Western world ignores the cruel persecution of Christians in the Muslim world. Where are all the human rights organizations of the UN? Where are all human rights organizations in the West? Please pray for the Christian minorities in the Muslim world.

Our existence is for what reason

Most of the time........lack human worth

Most of the time we got our hands in each other's pockets

That what wrong here

We place little value on Human worth

What l see tells myself and few others

That the 'liberal social' experiment has not worked

Got money in tax mans pocket for transgender issues but nothing for the homeless and the sick

You can get paid to have a sex change

But if your hearts in need of surgery

You are on your own..........

. . . she got a postcard in the mail
That just said Heaven, with a picture of the ocean and the beach
The simple words he wrote her
Said he loved her
How he'd hold her if his arms would reach
Wish you were here, wish you could see this place
Wish you were near,Wish I could touch your face
The weather's nice, it's paradise
It's summertime all year and there's some folks we know
They say, "Hello, "
I miss you so, wish you were here"
