what an incredible ride life is  . . . l watched "every things fine ", again last evening. Only this time l watched it with others who were  moved by the movies theme `connection and family everything is not always fine and life is tough even when it it is shared

Hull North MP Diana Johnson has written to the Justice Secretary to express concerns at the "lenient" sentence given to an EDL thug who punched a man during a march. As previously reported in the Mail, John Claydon, 46, laughed as he left court after receiving an 18-month community order for attacking anti-fascist protester David Harding outside St Stephen's shopping centre.

Claydon, who had a string of convictions for violence, was also ordered to do 100 hours' unpaid work and pay £500 compensation. But Ms Johnson believes the sentence, passed by Recorder Michael Smith, was too lenient and has written to Justice Secretary Chris Grayling with her concerns.

it often seam`s to myself that justice is upside down and very many people are laughing at the way criminal behaviour is dealt with in our modern society
a string of convictions is often cited in lots of case l read about justice apears lineant

Watched an old film last evening
Never really wanted to watch this film but well you know
It on the TV and you drift off
But darm it becomes interesting the scene of the gym and the view that women should not be boxing
l agree with
but it was the narrative of human connection between Clint eastwood and Hilary swanks character that drew me further in
the narrative
storytelling
is what we may connect with?
l saw some of my own prejudice and wrestled with the issues
from my chair as the drama unfolded on a TV set in my front room

TV and storytelling has this strong resonance with one

there is some thing precious all around us it may be just in the event or indeed in a relationship or an place you feel only you know but precious special meaningful

last Saturday we sat in the garden with the embers from some wood we had burnt flickering away supping on a larger chatting, it seamed like life was drifting by this connection would be a memory for a young son whose father is ill. He may one day recall this moment as precious, even important. But it`s value was still evident that day, along with all the walks talking in cafe`s supping at a camp, watching the TV, or a film in the cinema
